Our clients are continuing to do big things in and around Detroit. Each month we will be highlighting one client and their impact in the community....

Bianca has continued to work through all the challenges the pandemic has presented for all medical professionals, while also staying active keeping two boys under 5 busy. She has remained dedicated and focused on her workouts, never backing down from any challenge we throw her way. Here is a bit more about what she is doing to make a difference!

"I am a pediatric otolaryngologist at the Children's Hospital of Michigan, and I split my time evenly between the office and the operating room. I take care of kids of all ages, both in the outpatient and inpatient settings. My work is incredibly rewarding, as I can often offer fairly simple interventions which make a big difference in a child's quality of life. I am also challenged on a daily basis, but am so thankful to work with a fantastic team of fellow physicians as well as nurses and support staff at the Children's Hospital. In addition to my clinical work, I am a professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine, as well as at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. I am involved in medical student as well as resident education, and enjoy being an important part of training future otolaryngologists.

In addition to my career, my most important job is being a mom to 2 active little boys. It can be a challenge to juggle it all, but somehow I do manage to make it all work. Working out at PT in the D is a large part of that, and Robert has helped keep me active and in-shape through both of my pregnancies as well as multiple orthopedic injuries over the years. I enjoy both private as well as group sessions, and love keeping up with other PT in the D clients who have also been "regulars" over the years."
