2023 is your year! This year we will be recognizing and celebrating our client achievements each month through the various health and fitness journeys. Successes in health and fitness may look different for each person out there. We hope hearing about what others are going through, persevering with many of the same ups and downs, will be encouraging and motivating to stay positive.
"I started my fitness journey with PT in the D in late 2019. When I joined, I was a regular gym-goer, but wasn't making progress towards my fitness goals. I realized that, much like I was seriously dedicated to helping the community through public service, I needed to apply the same dedication to my health. With the consistent and skillful help of Sean in one-on-one training, I have been able to meet and exceed my fitness goals, recently hitting a milestone of 255lbs on the back squat. Working professionally to support Detroit Councilmember At-Large Mary Waters while growing an advertising and consulting business, my increased stamina, endurance, and focus on nutrition have given me the strength to overcome challenges outside of the gym too. Overall, PT in the D and Sean in particular have had a massively positive impact on my life. I am proud to now continue my journey with my partner, Dionne, and her sister, Shannon, in group training sessions."
