We are excited officially let everyone know about our newest addition to the team!
Tristen is a fellow Wayne State Alum, athlete, and is now working as a clinical social worker. We are excited for him to begin working with clients at the studio and being a part of our community. If you see him around, don't hesitate to say hello!! Here is a little word from him....
"Hey everyone, my name is Tristen Jorah and I am excited to get to work at PT in the D. I have always been involved in some level of fitness, and I'm no stranger to living an active life. My background has many sports layered throughout it, but baseball was my main calling. I studied and played baseball at Wayne State University, finishing in 2019 with a Bachelors in Kinesiology, with a focus in exercise and sports science. Since then I have worked in many environments, including ones focused on strictly athletes, to ones focused on the everyday person just trying to get in shape. I have broad experience in different training styles, but I find it is always helpful to meet the client where they are at, and help them unlock new goals they never even knew they had.""My schooling didn't end there, and I got my masters in social work in 2023, and work as a therapist as well. This exposure to the mental side of humans has been extremely eye-opening and rewarding at the same time. I find that fitness and mental health have a strong correlation, and I like to help my clients achieve the best of both worlds. Overall wellbeing is a huge focus of mine, and I look forward to making it yours as well."
