It's that time of year to offer up a great opportunity for our PT in the D community to help others.
Detroit Outdoors and PT in the D are again partnering up to raise money to support youth outdoor adventure trips!
Detroit Outdoors works closely with High Schools and Recreation Centers in Detroit. The staff and youth are building vibrant outdoor communities and Detroit Outdoors is raising money to underwrite a series of high adventure trips for these youth and teachers to attend, examples of which include: a UP Winter Adventure and NMU visit in February, a Summer UP Exploration and MTU Forestry School Visit, and an Inland Seas Tall Ship Liveaboard Sail. These adventurous outings provide exhilarating experiences that inspire youth to rally more of their peers to Outdoor Adventure Club activities at their schools and centers. Support from this fundraiser helps us deepen this culture of the outdoors and promote a spirit of adventure across the city.
